The war with Iran is looming

It is a matter of time when it comes

The West, Israel and the Gulf States consider Iran to be a threat to the region, with or without nuclear weapons. The Gulf States accuse him to stir the arms race in the region.

The Guardian has reported on 02.11.11 that “the Britain's armed forces are stepping up their contingency planning for potential military action against Iran”.

The Pentagon wants to increase its military presence in the Gulf region and “Obama administration is planning to sell thousands of advanced munitions to the United Arab Emirates”. “The munitions are made to target bunkers and tunnels, of the type in which Iran is believed to be developing nuclear weapons”(JTA.ORG 11.11.11).

The Iranians on the other hand are preparing themselves for a possible war for years. They assume into their consideration the case that their opponents could change the attitude of Russia and China toward them. An Iranian think-tank has in October this year the Syrians government recommended not to set on the Russian or Chinese veto in the UN because these countries will vote for their own interests.

I have no doubt that a war is looming. The question is how it will look like.

This war could be the coup de grâce that will end the fragile state of Iraq.
